Originally joined as a sales executive and then acquired a majority ownership of the company in 1996, becoming President/CEO. Personally financed and directed an overhaul of the company’s software products, obsolescing the legacy DOS and Unix/Cobol applications and reengineering/upgrading the applications on a Windows®/SQL platform. The company became the leading provider of Windows-based business management software to tire and automotive services chains and franchises, growing from a mere 40 to over 2,400 customer locations.
Achievement Highlights:
  • Negotiated and consummated the merger/sale of the company for approximately $4.7M in consideration
  • Increased sales and profits while investing heavily in an overhaul of the company’s software products to state-of-the-art technology
  • Served as Executive Sponsor or Account Executive on major sales to large national chains and franchises
  • Served as Account Executive for the company’s largest customer (Monro/Mr Tire) as they grew from 60 locations in 1988 to over 780 stores. Directly responsible for ensuring their satisfaction and support over the 22 year positive relationship
